Welcome to aPTomic!

This is a game of Nomic, which means that it's a game in which you play the game by changing the rules of the game (including the rules on how to change the rules).

Specifically, it's a 'Fantasy Rules Committee'-style Nomic (or at least, that's how it'll start), which means that there's a core ruleset, and most of what we'll do will (unless we decide to change that aspect of the rules, of course) involve making 'fantasy rules'. The aim of the game is (at the moment) to make the last possible fantasy rule (by making further rules logically or practically impossible); at which point all the fantasy rules are revoked and we'll return to the core ruleset.

It's called aPTomic because that seemed an apt name for a Nomic in which rules are regularly atomized, and a Nomic in which Players of another game may atone for their documentation errors that prevent them from continuing to play the other game at the moment.
